"Nigerian cities in general look like Japan after that Tsunami hit it. Litter, filth, broken stuff all over, just houses standing in all the disaster around. If Nigerian politicians were not so darn crookish and Nigerians so darn lazy what is there in building simple road?

I would replace all those imported expensive rollers, asphalt spraying equipment with 1 million kunle, emeka and edabor. In 10 years you would have all your roads in Lagos done at 1/10th of the price and that money will cut crime by 70% coz all dem young guys would not be sitting in cyber cafes thinking about who to fleece or thinking about which bank to rob. They would be too tired after a hard day's job."

We as a generation refuse to ask "why".It is the earnestness of seeking the answer to that 3-letter word, that the world-as we know it today- has evolved and will keep evolving. When my daughter is born in 7months time I will ensure that she grows up questioning almost voraciously.Every Nigerian from the age of 16 and above have absolutely no clue, because we have refused to ask questions and demand answers. My hope now lies in every Nigerian from from the age of 15 downwards.Hopefully they will ask, seek and find the Nigeria that the world deserves to have.

What you say about the general shabbiness, disorder and filth that characterises the Nigerian landscape is true. But this is something that Nigerians seem to think is desirable (at least that is how it seems, for why else would it continue to spread).

The dodgey schemes to aid development, turn out to be nothing more than grand hoaxes to fleece money from the treasury.

It is a relief to know, that not all Nigerians think this is an acceptable state of affairs.
